Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information SimpleWhats("we") collects, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Service you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Use.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: your name, email, and authentication identifiers, handled through our authentication provider.
  • Workspace & billing data: your organization details, selected plan, billing cycle, and subscription status. Card payments are processed by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store your full card details.
  • Connection data: the WhatsApp accounts you connect and their session state, used solely to send messages on your behalf.
  • Message metadata: for each message you send we record metadata such as the recipient number, timestamp, and delivery status, for usage accounting.

3. What we do NOT collect

SimpleWhats is send-only. We do not receive, read, or store inbound messages that your contacts send to your connected WhatsApp accounts. We do not build profiles of your contacts.

We do not store the content (body) of the messages you send by default. Content storage is off unless you explicitly enable it for a specific connection. When disabled, only metadata is retained.

4. How we use information

  • to provide, operate, and secure the Service;
  • to enforce plan quotas and rate limits;
  • to process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • to communicate with you about your account;
  • to comply with legal obligations.

5. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service (for example, authentication, hosting, database, and payment providers), and when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

We retain account, workspace, and message-metadata records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal and accounting purposes. You can request deletion of your account, subject to obligations that require us to retain certain records.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
